Today was a free day. A social distance bike ride with a friend got me out of the house for a while as well as some amazing croquetas and pastelitos… thank my lucky stars that Bella Bakery is open for take out.
The creature reconnected to the matrix after school and our daily bike ride and I made an improvised, yet tasty, bread pudding.
Beyond that, this week has been all about the garden. I have planted tomatoes (at least two varieties), peppers, cilantro, basil and parsley. I hope they make it despite the insane heat we have had this month in South Florida… I am gearing up to replant some of my babies in the upcoming week and hope to start propagating more soon as well.
All in all a simple and satisfying day.
